IT Assets
The Equipment and Assets directory (called Components in the base process) allows you to organize and maintain a directory of an organization's significant equipment and assets. Use the Equipment Type... directory to create a classifier of types of equipment and assets.
When a request is created, the support engineer can associate the request with the required equipment or asset. The list of equipment and assets displays all requests associated with them, as well as the number of these requests. Using graphs, you can build the necessary analytical reports.
Use recurring jobs to periodically create requests or tasks for inventory or equipment maintenance and other activities. To do this, use the modules Settings - Request Templates, Settings - Task Templates, and Settings - Recurring Tasks.
