Boards

Boards (task boards or whiteboards) are designed to visualize the status of requirements or work on a project. The columns correspond to stages of the technological cycle, production stages or statuses. By moving cards between columns, you move from one status to another. For example, after design is completed, you can move the requirement card to the Development state.

The board is divided into horizontal sections (swimlanes), grouping cards according to a given characteristic. For example, cards can be grouped by users, releases, sprints, etc. Cards can be transferred between groups, thereby assigning to participants, changing planned sprints, etc.

The first column (Backlog) is not divided into groups because it is a log of all available requirements or tasks. Here the requirements are waiting to be planned - assigned to a release or iteration.

Since there can be a lot of cards, it is convenient to collapse them, then they take up less space, but the idea of the number of cards and their distribution by priority is still preserved, for example. You can collapse an individual cell using the button located in the lower right corner of the cell. You can collapse an entire column; to do this, open the context menu in the column name and select Collapse cards. You can collapse cards on the entire board; to do this, use the slider located next to the green buttons.

To add/remove a column (status), open the context menu with the column name and select an action, for example, Add column to the right. In the same menu, you can edit transitions between statuses. Full information about statuses and transitions is located on the project settings page.

To configure the display of attributes on cards, grouping, sorting and selecting the color scheme of cards, use the gear located in the upper left corner of the board.
